Random memory my brain dredged up today.

My writing rejection for my script was not my first writing rejection.

When I was in elementary school, there was a magazine called Bananarama--at least, I think that was the name--that the school gave us for free, and they had a weekly cartoon series called "Pet Peeves" where you would send in something like, "I hate it when the DJ talks over my favorite song!" and they would do a cartoon about it. I sent them some ideas and received a form rejection. I think I was ten.

Go figure.
